I was supposed to squat 405 x 5 today. Well, 405 x 1 barely happened. My hip is in real bad shape. I figured I could switch to high bar and do 375 x 5, but 375 x 1 barely happened, so I just went home. I'll work on it tonight and tomorrow and try again Wednesday. It seems like turning my feet out more helps a lot, so I'm going to adopt that, but I don't get as much hip torque. Still, I need to make this happen Wednesday, and continue to add 10 lbs per week for two more weeks to get 425 x 5 before I'm ready to deload for a week and have a go at 500. For the first time, I'm having doubts.
