Check out this free metal mix album from Amazon.com. Some is good, some is ok, but it's free!
Yesterday's training, which would have been a bodybuilding day, was replaced by rolling around with some guys from the wrestling club. I took a few things away from this, including a black eye, the knowledge that I'm nowhere near wrestling shape, some strained intercostals, and a neck so fatigued that I can hardly hold up my head. It was a lot of fun.
Today, I only did main lifts, no accessory since because of fatigue from wrestling, and I decided to do some opposite stance deadlift today to give the old hip a break. Since I haven't pulled conventional heavy in a couple years, I got a free PR out of it.
Squat, low bar
295 x 5
Squat, high bar
295 x 5
Opposite (conventional) Deadlift
405, 425, 445, 455
So, my conventional deadlift sucks. Still, it felt good. If I ever compete raw, I'll probably use conventional. I realize that I'm going the complete other way from my previously stated opinion here.
