Today was the planned 405 x 5 Madcow squat. Yeah, not so much. I guess trying to jump right into a PR attempt after a two(ish) week injury layoff was a poor choice. Hip is still around 90%.

It feels like I'm less aggressive with my squats right now, like I'm just trying to move through the weight without getting hurt instead of actually attacking the lift.

I'm really bad at this, but I should improve quickly. I'm pretty sure thoracic extension is my weak point, not legs.
So, the plan is to hit 405 for two triples on Friday, and make another attempt at five a week from today. After that, I'm probably going to take a few weeks where I only squat in ways that are easy on the hip. This thing needs to be good to go for my fall training block.
